About Sahasra

Hello! My name is Sahasra, and I'm passionate about mathematics and teaching. My journey with maths began at a young age and has continued to grow through various enriching experiences. I have attended Cambridge Maths Workshops, participated in "Maths Inspiration" trips, read many interesting books and participated in many maths challenges and competitions, which have deepened my understanding and appreciation of this beautiful subject.
I believe that everyone has the potential to excel in maths with the right guidance and support. My goal is to make learning maths enjoyable and accessible, breaking down complex concepts into understandable and relatable parts. Whether you're struggling with the basics or looking to master advanced topics, I'm here to help you achieve your goals.

About the lesson

My lessons are typically an hour long. I teach mathematics in a concept based style where we introduce a topic conceptually and work through example questions. The student will then be given questions to try on their own one by one and if stuck I will guide them through it. As someone who has encountered what I call "curve ball questions" (really challenging questions in a style that haven't been asked before), I have a bank of them for the student to try and extend their knowledge. These lessons are aimed at A-Level Maths students and GCSE Maths students. I also teach GCSE Further and Additional Maths.
