About Tanya
I enjoy teaching because I find it really rewarding to help others understand things that once felt difficult. I know that English can sometimes feel confusing or overwhelming, especially when it comes to essays and analysis, but with the right support and approach, it can become much more manageable—and even enjoyable.

My teaching approach focuses on building a clear understanding of core concepts before applying them to exam-style questions. I believe that confidence in science comes from truly understanding how and why things work, rather than memorisation alone.
I tailor each lesson to the student’s needs, whether that involves simplifying difficult topics, reinforcing key knowledge, or challenging high-achieving students to reach top grades. I place particular emphasis on exam technique, helping students understand how to structure answers and maximise marks.
