About Prof Lúcio Lowen
I adopt a methodology that seeks to be as universal as possible. The guitar is an extremely versatile instrument that has incorporated into its repertoire many different approaches from each culture where it is present, in this course I mainly approach Brazilian and American schools for presenting more common elements in contemporary popular music. I also incorporate elements of the erudite school, more focused on contemporaneity. The theory and history of music will also be studied and properly incorporated into the practice of the instrument.

I have been teaching guitar since 1995 and since then I have accumulated experience not only teaching but also learning how to teach, which I think is very important. As I study and research various methods and approaches of the instruments I have a technical and theoretical basis from which I personalize the students' classes always according to the desired repertoire and goal.
