"Learning an instrument should feel like a discovery rather than a chore. I confess that my favourite moments occur when a student finally understands how the theory behind their favourite songs actually functions on the fretboard. We work through acoustic technique in a way that remains steady and focused, ensuring that each challenge feels like a natural step forward for the dedicated adult learner. Our time together prioritises the specific needs of working professionals who want to see consistent progress during their limited practice hours.
By emphasising clear explanations of fingerpicking patterns and complex theory, I remove the confusion often associated with intermediate study. We balance these technical explorations with creative songwriting sessions that reflect your personal musical identity. This blend of structure and freedom allows you to build a repertoire that you can be proud to share with others. You will leave every session with a clearer path towards the music you want to create."

"Music often starts as a quiet curiosity in the corner of a living room. I teach because I genuinely love watching that curiosity turn into a real, tangible skill.
My background includes a Master of Music from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I have spent 10 years sharing my knowledge with 186 students. My sessions cover acoustic technique, fingerpicking, and essential music theory for working professionals. We also focus on tuning and maintenance so your instrument stays ready to play.
I enjoy helping adults find their own rhythm after a long day. It is rewarding to guide intermediate players towards mastering complex song structures. Whether you are preparing for grade exams or writing original material, I am here to support your growth. Let us make some great music together."
