About Allison
I have 6 years of experience teaching guitar and ukulele. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from the University of Washington, where I developed strong teaching and performance skills.
I have helped many students become confident players and enjoy music learning. I received a String Instrument Teaching Medal for my beginner-friendly approach. I am known as a friendly tutor who explains clearly and patiently.
In my free time, I enjoy photography and creative editing, which keeps me inspired and detail-focused.

I teach guitar and ukulele in a simple and practical way so students can start playing music quickly and confidently. I begin with posture, chord shapes, and strumming patterns, and then guide you into song playing and rhythm development. I also introduce styles like rock, blues, and acoustic playing depending on your interest.
For ukulele, I make learning smooth and enjoyable while building strong rhythm and coordination. I also help students who want to sing while playing, which improves timing and confidence. Lessons on Teams/Zoom will include live guidance, demonstrations, and step-by-step practice, making learning interactive and easy. Together, we’ll make a subject you enjoy.
