About Ryan
Various stage and film performances throughout the years. From "Into The Woods" to small indie films. I have been working in independent film for the past ten years making my own films as well as performing in others.
This class will focus primarily on acting for the screen and will encourage group exercises as well engage the students in a fun atmosphere. Mind you, in a course such as this I do not consider myself a teacher so much as I do a director. Acting students don't need teachers. They need directors. And that is how I plan on approaching the class.

Let's face it, I've been acting all my life. My name is Ryan Brewer and from the time I was able to understand what acting was, it is the only thing I have ever wanted to do. I did my first play in 6th grade and stuck with it ever since. The freedom and enjoyment I got from acting is something that I not only loved but needed. I was a shy guy growing up and didn't have a lot of friends. But for those brief moments I was on stage the world loved me. And who doesn't like that feeling!?
I studied acting all through Jr. High and High School before taking the reigns and beginning the long journey of self-study. I've done a number of stage performances over the years and now focus my time on filmmaking and film acting (which is what I really wanted when I was I kid).
