About Bogdan
My name is Bogdan Voda and I am a Romanian actor, classically trained (I have a BFA and an MFA in acting from UNATC, the most important Conservatory program in the country). I am passionate by martial arts (I hold a black belt with 4 dans in karate) and music (I have a Master in Music – I sing and I play the violin, viola and the piano).
I have over 25 years of professional experience and have worked with important names from Jean-Claude Van Damme, Olivier Martinez, Josh Hartnett, Kevin McKidd to Demi Moore, Charlotte Rampling and Woody Harrelson, in popular productions like Blood and Chocolate and Bunraku (selected the Midnight Madness section at 2010 Toronto International Film Festival) and some festival awarded movies such as Derby (Winner of Brief Encounters Grand Prix and Nominated for Best Short Film at the Berlin Film Festival) and Sunday on a leave (Winner of the Montpellier Mediterranean Film Festival).
Also for over 15 years I was a member of one of the most important Repertory Theaters in Romania, Nottara Theater where I played in very successful productions which toured all over Europe.
I recently relocated from Sydney, Australia where I am a resident and where during the 3 years I’ve been there I was a lead in a TV mini –series and a short. I also taught acting, movement and martial arts and directed couple of shows at New York Film Academy in Sydney.

My method of teaching is based on Stanislavsky method.Stanislavski developed the technique in the early 1900s and they have been used ever since to help actors create believable emotions and actions in the characters they portray.
