About Beatriz
Beatriz Guzmán – Acting Coach & Theater Educator I am an actress, pedagogue, and acting coach with a Master’s Degree in Advanced Theater Studies, specializing in the methodology of Anatoly Vassiliev, a disciple of Maria Knebel, influenced by Michael Chekhov and Jerzy Grotowski. My approach helps actors find the action, feel secure and authentic in their performances, and discover their creative individuality. My Method I work with Active Analysis, a tool that allows actors to explore situational structures through études, deepening their understanding of action without falling into mechanical or superficial psychological approaches. No matter your level, if you feel like something is missing in your acting or that you haven’t yet reached the depth you seek, my training will provide you with a new perspective on your creative process. Who is this training for? Aspiring actors looking to build confidence on stage. Professional actors aiming to refine their craft and expand their expressive range. Directors who want to work with their actors in an inspiring, creative, and process-respecting way. My Mission I believe in a theater that moves away from vulgarity and banality, where the actor is a creature of nature who deserves to express themselves with their full potential. My work is based on Vassiliev’s legacy and his exploration of acting systems, but always adapted to the present and the needs of today’s actor. My mission is to make theater a discipline that enriches rather than falls into vulgarity and banality. The actor is a creature of nature who deserves to express themselves with their full potential. - I work with beginner actors, professional actors, and even directors who need to work with their actors in an inspiring and creative way while respecting the creative process.
