About Melanie

Physics is the study of the natural world and its underlying laws, and my lessons are structured to make complex topics accessible and engaging. Students begin with mechanics, exploring motion, forces, and energy, then progress to electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and applied problem-solving. Each lesson integrates step-by-step explanations, practical examples, and interactive exercises to ensure that students not only understand theoretical concepts but also develop the skills to apply them in real-life scenarios. The focus is on building both knowledge and confidence in tackling scientific challenges.
Application of physics concepts in everyday life is a central component of my teaching. Students examine how principles such as Newton’s laws, energy transfer, and electromagnetism operate in technology, nature, and engineering contexts. Experiments, simulations, and problem-based exercises reinforce learning, allowing students to visualize and interact with principles directly. This hands-on approach enhances comprehension, analytical reasoning, and the ability to apply knowledge independently.
