About Merrin
I am an experienced ESL tutor with 12 years of teaching high school and college students. I am passionate about making English learning simple and enjoyable. I have taught around 150 to 200 students, helping them improve their language skills step by step.
This experience has helped me understand different learning styles and adapt my teaching accordingly. One of my proudest milestones is seeing students become confident speakers and better writers.
Many of them have improved their academic performance and communication skills. My classes are interactive and easy to follow, with a focus on real-life usage of English.
I create a positive learning environment where students feel motivated and supported. My goal is to help every student grow and succeed.

My ESL teaching approach focuses on building confidence and strong communication skills through real-life learning. I use real-life examples and case studies to help students understand how English is used in everyday communication.
This helps them apply what they learn effectively. I motivate students by encouraging them and supporting their progress. I include problem-solving techniques such as conversations, role-plays, and real-life exercises that improve fluency and confidence.
I believe in integrity, so I provide honest and constructive feedback. I also use a flexible teaching style, adapting lessons based on each student’s needs, level, and goals. In addition to ESL, I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and writing skills.
