About Caleb
I am a dedicated French tutor with over 5 years of experience teaching college students. I believe that learning French should be clear, practical, and confidence-building.
My teaching style is step-by-step and student-centred. I begin by understanding the student’s academic needs and language level. Grammar rules are explained in simple language, and vocabulary is taught through meaningful examples. I make sure students fully understand each topic before moving forward.
I use innovative methods such as guided speaking practice, real-life conversations, listening activities, role-plays, and interactive exercises. These methods help students use French naturally instead of memorising sentences.
I encourage questions and mistakes, as they are part of learning. Regular feedback and revision sessions help students improve steadily.
My goal is to help college students achieve clarity, confidence, and strong communication skills in French.

I teach French with a student-centred methodology that emphasises creativity, mentorship, critical thinking, and accountability. Lessons are interactive, engaging, and practical, incorporating storytelling, role-plays, discussions, and real-life scenarios to make learning meaningful and enjoyable.
As a mentor, I guide students to analyse grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structures critically. They are encouraged to solve problems independently, think creatively, and express themselves confidently. This approach strengthens both language skills and personal growth.
Accountability is central to my teaching. I help students set clear goals, monitor progress, and provide consistent feedback to ensure measurable improvement. Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace, learning style, and interests.
In addition to French, I can teach literature, writing, and other language-related subjects. My goal is to create a flexible, inspiring, and supportive learning environment where students not only excel in French but also develop creativity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning skills.
