About Elise
I have 12 years of experience teaching guitar to students of different age groups and backgrounds. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals who are interested in learning guitar for personal enjoyment, skill development, or as a long-term hobby.
My lessons include guitar fundamentals, scales, chords, rhythm training, fingerstyle techniques, basic improvisation, ear training, and music theory. I also help students learn songs based on their musical interests, making lessons engaging and enjoyable.
My teaching approach is student-centered. I believe every learner is unique and should receive lessons that match their goals and abilities. I provide a supportive environment where students can learn comfortably and improve at their own pace.
I am committed to making learning simple and enjoyable. My ability to explain concepts clearly and create effective practice routines helps students make steady progress. I focus on developing both technical skills and confidence so that students can perform with ease.
As a teacher, my greatest satisfaction comes from seeing students grow and enjoy music. I aim to inspire learners, strengthen their skills, and help them develop a lifelong appreciation for guitar and music in general.

My teaching methodology is based on communication, creativity, and flexibility. I believe that learning Guitar should be enjoyable and stress-free. Every student has different goals and learning styles, so I customize my lessons according to individual needs. I create a friendly environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves.
I start with the fundamentals such as posture, hand positioning, chord shapes, rhythm exercises, and strumming techniques. Once students build confidence, I gradually introduce scales, fingerstyle methods, music theory, and song practice. My lessons focus on both technical development and musical understanding.
Communication helps me understand the strengths and challenges of each student. I provide regular feedback and encourage consistent practice. Creativity allows me to use songs, practical examples, and enjoyable activities to make lessons engaging. Flexibility helps me adapt to each student's pace and interests.
Besides Guitar, I can also teach related subjects like music theory, ear training, rhythm development, and basic performance skills. My goal is to help students become confident musicians and enjoy learning music for life.
