About Jamie
Hello! My name is Jamie and I have an affinity for speaking with people and aiding them in study and academic pursuits. I am deeply passionate about Psychology and Social Sciences and I am eager to share my knowledge with those who are equally eager to learn. I am a patient person, and understand that learning can be difficult if it comes from someone you don't like or click with. I aim to not only teach, but to make sure my lessons are done in a way that you can engage comfortably with and enjoy. I think it's important to build trust, as this makes engaging and asking questions easier.

I best teach through verbal communication with a suggestion of note-taking and frequent questions. I enjoy giving in-depth lectures, that can be contributed to with questions or ideas. The length of my lessons can be flexible. Ideally, to avoid my lessons feeling overwhelming, I try to keep them between 1 - 3 hours. This can be adjusted per student. I am currently a college student studying Social Sciences at Advanced Higher level. I have been in education for this topic for just over 3 years, with many books and journals on the subject read, and many essays written and highly graded. My lessons can be for anybody. Ideally, my audience are those who have little to no knowledge on the topic, those who are preparing for exams, or those who just wish to better understand the field.
