About Jaylin
I am Dr. Jaylin Alexander, a dedicated community servant and educator with a diverse background in counseling, psychology, education, leadership, and community engagement. My professional experience includes working as a counselor with the Georgia Department of Corrections, where I supported educational programming, GED/ABE instruction, career development, cognitive behavioral interventions, and successful community reentry. I currently lead Alexander Enterprise, providing spiritual psychotherapeutic solutions, counseling services, and innovative programs for vulnerable and under-resourced populations. With academic training in education, counseling and psychology, and medicine, I bring a holistic and practical perspective to tutoring. I am passionate about helping students understand complex subjects, develop critical-thinking skills, and gain confidence in their academic abilities.

My lessons in history, psychology, and sociology would be engaging, interactive, and focused on helping students understand concepts rather than simply memorize information. I would connect historical events, psychological theories, and sociological concepts to real-life experiences and current issues to make learning meaningful and relatable. Each lesson would be tailored to the student’s individual learning style and academic needs, using clear explanations, discussions, examples, questions, and critical-thinking activities. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their ideas, and building confidence in their ability to succeed academically.
