About Juniper
I am a passionate Guitar tutor with more than 22 years of experience teaching college students. My teaching approach combines mentorship, creativity, and structured learning to help students enjoy music while achieving real progress. My lessons cover chords, scales, music theory, improvisation, and songwriting. I also encourage students to explore their own style and compose music.
To make lessons interactive, I use play-along recordings, exercises, and modern digital tools. I adapt my teaching to each student’s abilities and learning style. I focus on building confidence, discipline, and problem-solving skills while developing their musical abilities. I enjoy seeing students improve, perform, and express themselves through music. My goal is to create lessons that are practical, inspiring, and enjoyable, guiding every student toward becoming a skilled and confident Guitarist.

My teaching approach for guitar combines creativity, critical thinking, and mentorship. I help students understand music deeply, from chords and scales to rhythm and composition. I encourage exploration, improvisation, and original musical expression, which nurtures both skill and confidence.
I emphasize accountability. I guide students in setting achievable goals, practicing regularly, and tracking their growth. This structured approach ensures steady improvement while keeping learning enjoyable.
In addition to guitar, I teach music theory, rhythm exercises, songwriting, and ear training. Lessons are personalized for each student’s pace and style. My aim is to make music learning inspiring, fun, and rewarding, helping students become independent and expressive musicians.
