About Krish
I have 11 years of teaching experience and hold a Master’s Degree in Violin Performance. My academic training included advanced bow mechanics, ensemble coordination, interpretation analysis, and structured practice systems. This educational background allows me to break down complex violin techniques into simple and practical explanations for students at different levels.
Throughout my career, I have taught beginners building foundational posture as well as advanced learners refining vibrato consistency and shifting accuracy. I strongly believe that structured repetition, patient instruction, and constructive feedback are essential for long-term success. My teaching style is organized, calm, and encouraging while maintaining high technical standards.
Teaching violin allows me to guide students toward both technical mastery and artistic confidence. Watching learners perform with clarity and expressive control brings me deep professional satisfaction and motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and care.

My violin lessons are carefully structured to develop accurate intonation, controlled bow technique, strong left-hand coordination, and expressive phrasing. At the beginning of instruction, I conduct a detailed assessment of posture alignment, chin and shoulder positioning, bow grip stability, and finger placement accuracy. Proper physical setup is essential because it directly influences tone quality and prevents tension or discomfort. We begin with long, steady bow strokes on open strings to build consistent tone production, followed by scale practice to improve pitch awareness and finger precision. I clearly explain how bow speed, pressure control, and contact point determine sound clarity and resonance.
As students progress, we introduce shifting exercises, vibrato development, string crossing control, and articulation variations. Each technique is divided into small and structured steps to ensure steady and confident improvement. Repertoire is selected according to the student’s level and musical goals. We focus on phrasing, tempo control, expressive dynamics, and musical storytelling. I provide detailed corrections and repeat key passages to strengthen both technical reliability and performance confidence.
For advanced learners, I include recital preparation, memory strengthening exercises, and performance psychology strategies. Students gradually develop smoother transitions, richer tone projection, improved endurance, and artistic maturity. My goal is to combine disciplined technique with expressive musical understanding.
