About Adam

I'm Adam, a recent Aerospace Engineering graduate from TU Delft, where I graduated top 1.3% of my class with Honours. Mathematics has always been at the heart of my academic journey, from advanced calculus to mechanics and applied problem-solving. Currently, I work in machine learning, where I apply mathematical concepts daily.

I chose to tutor because I genuinely enjoy breaking down complex mathematical ideas into intuitive, understandable pieces. During my degree, I helped countless classmates grasp difficult concepts, and I found immense satisfaction in those "lightbulb moments" when everything clicks. I believe anyone can excel at mathematics with the right guidance and approach.

What sets my teaching apart is patience and adaptability. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I tailor my explanations to match your thinking style. Whether you're struggling with fundamentals or pushing for top marks, I create a supportive environment where questions are encouraged and mistakes are learning opportunities.

Fluent in English and French, I'm comfortable working with students from diverse backgrounds. My goal isn't just to help you pass exams but to build genuine mathematical confidence that stays with you beyond the classroom.

About the lesson

I specialize in GCSE and A-Level Maths and Further Maths, with particular expertise in calculus and mechanics. My approach is student-centered and flexible. If you're struggling with specific concepts, I'll create targeted lesson plans to address those gaps. Alternatively, we can work systematically through past papers and exam-style questions to build confidence and technique.

Lessons typically run 60-90 minutes, giving us time to work through material thoroughly while maintaining focus. I explain complex ideas using clear, intuitive examples and help you develop problem-solving strategies that work for you. Whether you're aiming to solidify fundamentals, push for top grades, or prepare for university-level mathematics, I'll adapt my teaching to your goals and learning style.

Sessions are designed to go beyond memorization, fostering genuine mathematical understanding that makes problem-solving feel natural rather than forced. Ideal for students at GCSE or A-Level who want personalized support tailored to their individual needs.
