About James
I'm a second-year Aerospace Engineering student at the University of Leicester — a field that lives and breathes advanced mathematics, so trust me when I say I know this subject inside out.
I genuinely enjoy teaching. There's something satisfying about watching a concept finally land for someone who was convinced they "just weren't a maths person." Spoiler: everyone is a maths person with the right explanation.
Outside of my degree I stay sharp through coding, problem solving, and constantly learning new things — so I bring that same curious, driven energy into every tutoring session.
I'm patient, adaptable, and I won't make you feel embarrassed for not knowing something. My job is to fix that, not judge it.

My sessions are fully online and built around you — no one-size-fits-all approach here. Before we dive in, I'll take time to understand exactly where you're struggling and what your target grade is, then we'll build from there.
Each session is focused and practical. We'll work through concepts until they actually click, tackle past paper questions together, and break down the kind of exam technique that separates a 6 from a 9. I keep things engaging — no death-by-PowerPoint, just real back-and-forth until you get it.
Sessions are flexible and can be booked around your schedule. I use shared digital whiteboards and screen sharing to make the online experience feel just as interactive as sitting across a table.
