True learning is not rote, monotonous, nor drilled into the learner. True learning is: when the student is allowed to express their own ideas; when the student understands how the content relates to their real life; and where there is collaboration between the teacher and student to ensure that targets are met at a steady pace. In true learning, it is the student who is prioritised - not the curriculum.

Thus, I base my lessons around these ideals.
