About Nick
I am a NYC-based jazz guitarist, arranger, and composer. I was born and raised in Ukraine. In 2015, i moved to New York City to study at The New School for jazz and contemporary music, currently a senior.
I collaborated with a lot of musicians in Ukraine. Some of them include (several) Donetsk' jazz orchestras as well as Kharkov's conservatory jazz orchestra. I have performed at many notable performance spaces in Ukraine, such as Donetsk Philarmonic, Kharkiv National Center Of Arts, Kiev’s the International Center of Culture among many others.
In New York, I've had the opportunity to be mentored by, and play with well-known artists like Vic Juris, Peter Bernstein, Hal Galper, David Glasser, Victor Jones, Kim Clarke, Adam Klipple, Ed Cherry, Jonathan Kreisberg, Aaron Goldberg, Gilad Hekselman, Richard Boukas and others.
You can see me playing locally at The Red Room, Minton’s Playhouse, Zinc Bar, Bar 9, and other venues around New York.
In addition to that, I've performed at the Bern International Jazz Festival 2018 with Hattie Simon Group.

I always try to help you achieve the goals that you have but I also try to point you towards the new direction, something that maybe you haven't even thought about yet but it will be helpful for you in the future.
I also concentrate on a many aspects of music: reading skills, arranging, general music education (listening and discovering new music), ear-training, theory if wanted.
