About Tatym
I am a Distinction level Afrikaans student at a High School level obtaining 81% in my final matric exams because of the teacher I had who was always attentive and had a way of explaining the most complex work in the most basic way. I strive to be her and help students reach their full potential in the Afrikaans language.
I am an outgoing yet very shy individual. Partaking in something like this amongst other things where I would have to assist other individuals is one way of allowing me to come out of my shell and also to be able to communicate efficiently.
I believe that I am a professional individual in that when it's work time, you work and play time, you play. I am confident that if we work together, we can get the best results.

I will take a relaxed and confident approach to tutoring those in need of becoming proficient in the Afrikaans language through reading, writing and speaking it. What makes me unique is that despite growing up in an Afrikaans household, my proficiency is the language was terrible but through constant learning and practice, I improved and so can you.
I am proficient in both English and Afrikaans and I am able to teach in both when needed to make sense of the Afrikaans.
Students can expect starting from the most basic level of Afrikaans to slowly moving up to more challenging work and eventually revision to sum it all up. I will also provide assistance with classwork.
These lessons are aimed at those who would like to improve their Afrikaans as well as those in high school and under.
