About Andre
I am a medical doctor practising in a small regional hospital in South Africa.
I have experience in teaching medicine since I was a student as well as high school level biology, maths and physics. Afrikaans is my home language and one of a few languages that I speak - as a lover of languages I am not new to the steep learning curve and diligent practice that is necessary to learn and master a new language. I am fully bilingual with English being the language of choice for patient interactions as well as most of my day-to-day tasks.
I have a passion for learning and for teaching, therefore I believe that I can help you achieve your goals.

I believe that language is best picked up in context and conversation. You are learning Afrikaans/English to speak with Afrikaans/English people - so what better way to practice than to speak! If a more academic approach is required we can focus on grammar and the fine nuances. I do believe that I can get Afrikaans and English across to anyone in a fun and entertaining way. You'll be speaking in no time.
