About Jamie
I am a tutor with two years of experience, I have taught 10 children and all of them have greatly improved their Afrikaans. I am an aspiring teacher so I take my role as a tutor extremely seriously. I try to be very versatile and I offer every student their own personalized tutoring experience because not every student learns the same.

As a tutor I like to start from the foundation so that I know all bases are covered.
I will usually translate certain words or phrases to English if my student is a native English speaker so that they can fully grasp the concept of the lesson.
In a typical lesson after the initial covering of bases we'll work to tackle the parts of Afrikaans you struggle with or don't understand.
My lessons are aimed at intermediate phase learners.
