About Lauren
Hey there, future Afrikaans Rockstars, I'm Lauren but you can call me Laurie, your go-to Tutor for making Afrikaans feel like a breeze. With a background in childcare and 3+ years in child ministry, I've got experience of working with Kids from ages 3 - 13. As a Grade 12 student myself, I know what it takes to ace the language and I'm all about sharing the magic with YOU. Growing up I had the privilege of having the best Tutor ever. She took her time with me and I improved because I wasn't scared to ask questions and because I felt comfortable in her presence. That's the presence and impact I want to have on my students. My approach is built on patience, understanding and a whole lot of encouragement. Let's make Afrikaans something you own, and have fun while doing it!
