About Bala Nandhika
I am Nandhika and I work as a counseling psychologist apart from being a professional dancer. I reside in Chennai.
Dance to me is a form of movement which allows the body to be free ofall inhibitions and judgements. It's something that I believe all can do. Hence my interest in teaching began and now my goal is to teach and spread whatever knowledge I have to as many students as possible, while still finding the time to learn for myself.

In my classes we focus a lot on the following:
- Letting go and getting comfortable in our own skin
- Allowing the body to move and learn different movements
- Then we go into the history of AFRODANCE and few moves and their origin
- Moving on to basic drills and combos
- Lastly a short choreography for the students to learn and if they want take a video and post for their own satisfaction purposes
