About Zachary
"Teaching exists because I enjoy watching people find their own sound rather than just mimicking the masters. Music theory is not just paper notes, but the foundation for my approach to lead guitar, blues progressions, and complex fingerpicking patterns.
My degree from AIM provides the technical framework for the sessions, though my heart lies in the personal narrative of connecting guitar work with vocal accompaniment. Technical skills like reading sheet music, power chords, and barre chords form the core of my curriculum. I also include ear training and reading tabs to make sure you can play whatever you hear. You will find that my approach stays grounded in the music you already love to listen to."

"Practicing scales for hours is actually the fastest way to lose your enthusiasm for the instrument. We treat songs as the primary vehicle for learning, working through your specific favorites to reveal how the guitar actually functions in a live setting. My 13 years of experience have shown that playing music you like makes every technical hurdle feel like a fun puzzle instead of a chore. 477 students have already used this method to move past the basics and into meaningful playing.
I keep the atmosphere chill and encouraging because gig-tested musicians know that mistakes are just part of the process. We balance the heavy lifting of technique with the freedom of playing, ensuring you leave every session feeling more capable than when you arrived.
