About Jason

I started working on-line through several Chinese platforms devoted to children. After working in a government school for 6 years as well as a private language academy, I focused on my skills speaking with adults. After a combined 10 years, including my post graduate work in a Montessori school, I opened my own outdoor learning center and started working with people one on one.
I have had the pleasure of some truly varied and fascinating careers; opportunities that have made me the professional I am today. But, as mentioned, it wasn't until I put more focus on my work as a teacher, 4 years online, and a disciplined writer, that my interests shifted to better serving others. 6 years in a government school taught me that there are much better ways to master a language. It is my hope to share that experience with others so they can find success in their own personal goals.

About the lesson

Understanding where a person is coming from, in terms of their individual abilities, is my number two area of concentration. Enabling that individual to become better, through conversation or specified troubleshooting, is my number 1. That being said, for many advanced level speakers, I put you as captain of this boat. I am here as a guide to better enjoy this journey together. For those who have less proficiency, I work to foster a comfortable environment, so a positive exchange can occur. You are free to use your English, at whatever level, and I will correct as needed, ensuring that your progress is measured.
