You’ll learn how to prioritize questions, manage your time, and handle tough sections confidently.

About the lesson

I’m a maths tutor with over 7 years of experience and an MSc in Computational Mathematics. I specialize in helping non-STEM students — liberal arts majors, humanities scholars, and anyone who’s ever felt intimidated by math — to see it in a new light. My approach is holistic, focusing on the why behind the formulas rather than endless calculations. I love showing how math connects to philosophy, art, music, and everyday life.

I use relatable analogies, like comparing functions to stories or probability to choices we make at a café. I also weave in historical context to show how big ideas emerged and why they mattered. With me, you won’t just “do math,” you’ll understand it as a universal language and human achievement.

I’ve worked with many students overcoming a lifelong fear of math, helping them replace anxiety with curiosity and confidence. I know that for many, computation can feel cold and alienating — so I keep the focus on meaning and patterns instead.
