About Merin

I believe math should be experienced, not just memorized. Each session transforms abstract concepts into concrete, engaging activities that make learning both fun and meaningful. Through creative problem-solving scenarios, interactive logic puzzles, and real-world simulations, I help students see math as a tool for understanding the world around them. Complex equations become approachable when explored through curiosity and imagination. I design lessons that invite hands-on exploration, encouraging students to think critically and discover solutions on their own. This approach builds independence, creativity, and lasting confidence. I excel at guiding both the Problem Solver and the Exam Taker students who want to go beyond rote learning and truly grasp the reasoning behind each step. In every lesson, understanding comes before memorization. My goal is to nurture a deeper appreciation for mathematical thinking and the logic that drives it. You’ll learn to see patterns, make connections, and develop powerful intuition that extends beyond the classroom. With every challenge solved, you’ll grow more confident, capable, and curious.

About the lesson

I am a dedicated Maths tutor with over 2 years of experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Economics. My passion lies in exploring the rich and fascinating world of non-Euclidean geometry. I specialize in curved spaces, diving deep into the study of hyperbolic and spherical geometries that challenge our intuitive sense of shape and distance. Through visual models and historical perspectives, I bring abstract mathematical ideas to life in ways that are both engaging and enlightening.

I work closely with students who are drawn to abstract geometry, theoretical physics, and the philosophy of mathematics, helping them connect theory with imagination. Together, we uncover how geometry shapes our understanding of the universe itself.

I believe that learning mathematics should be an act of discovery. Each session encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and the confidence to question what we think we know about space. With patience and enthusiasm, I guide students to see math not as a set of rigid rules but as a living, evolving language of thought.
