About Lucy

In my lessons, you’ll discover the true power of data and how it shapes the world we live in. I focus on teaching the art of data interpretation so you can understand information with confidence. Together, we’ll master graphing techniques that make complex numbers easy to read and explain. You’ll also learn how to perform statistical analysis step by step, building solid skills. We explore real-world datasets and studies to connect learning with practical applications. This approach helps uncover meaningful numerical trends and strengthens your quantitative reasoning. I work closely with learners who may feel unsure about math, helping them become confident data navigators. My goal is to make data both understandable and exciting. Lessons include plenty of examples and hands-on work to transform complex data into clear insights. You’ll gain skills that are useful for academic work and real-life projects. I guide each step with patience and clarity to ensure progress and understanding. This way, learning becomes rewarding and empowering.

About the lesson

I’m a Maths tutor with over 8 years of experience and an MSc in Statistics, passionate about connecting mathematics with creativity. I specialize in mathematical problem-solving for the arts and design. My lessons explore how equations can transform artistic expression. I teach parametric equations to create stunning generative art and forms.

Fourier analysis is another focus, helping students understand the mathematics behind sound synthesis and music. I also guide learners in exploring tessellations, revealing the beauty of patterns and symmetry. My teaching blends theory with hands-on practice. We use tools like Processing and Blender to bring concepts to life.

My sessions are interactive, combining creativity with mathematical precision. I make complex ideas simple, encouraging experimentation and discovery. I tailor lessons to match each learner’s interests and goals. With the right guidance, math becomes not just understandable but inspiring.
