About Freya
I am a teacher student from Midtsjælland, who has a burning passion for teaching.
I work at a school every day, but in my free time it is about books and gaming. So I'm totally in control of the latest games coming out on the market.
I strongly agree that it should not be boring to learn - because if you are motivated to learn, then it is also much easier to learn.

I take a slightly different approach to teaching. Of course, I have a strong focus on professionalism, but also on learning to be creative and fun. For example with mind maps and models in biology, movies and series in English to learn listening and translation, kahoot and much more.
In English, I would typically start with a warm-up exercise, to get my brain going. It could, for example, be tongue breakers in English. After this, I will introduce the day's teaching course, and then start with the teaching itself. It is important to me that we get all the way around in terms of competencies. Both grammar, oral and written comprehension, as well as listening and reading are important, and I therefore vary the different tasks I give along the way.
I am a very relationship-oriented teacher who supports my students through learning. It creates a sense of security that helps motivate more learning, and better approach to study. I always include the student's needs in my plans, eg if they need more written work. This means that teaching is always tailored to the need that needs to be filled.
I am almost trained as a primary school teacher for schooling, which means children and young people from 4-5 grade and up. In addition to this, I have worked as a substitute and at a youth club, and therefore have knowledge of teaching of all ages. high professionalism in focus.
