About Jaydeen

Hi! I’m a Grade 11 student whose home language is Afrikaans, and I currently average above 80% for the subject.

Even though Afrikaans is my home language, I actually struggled a lot with it in primary school. I didn’t properly understand the basics, and because of that, everything felt confusing and frustrating. It affected my marks and my confidence.

When I got to high school, I finally learned the foundations the right way and everything changed. My marks improved, my confidence grew, and Afrikaans became one of my strongest subjects. That’s the reason I want to teach.

I know what it feels like to struggle. I know how discouraging it can be when you don’t understand the basics. And I also know how amazing it feels when it finally clicks.

I’m just a girl who genuinely enjoys helping others flourish. I want to give my students the chance to fix their Afrikaans marks early, build strong foundations, and feel proud of their progress, just like I did.
