About Margaret
I started English support (unofficially) in high school and college afterwards, and private lessons two years ago (I had two sets of two students, in CM2 and beginning of middle school). I am French and American (so fluent in both). I am qualified to teach at all levels and ages, my guideline is to make the student(s) feel comfortable talking with me. Improvement in writing, vocabulary, pronunciation of course go hand in hand. Many times I was the debutante student regarding other languages and I realized that I learned so much more by just talking and making (a lot of) mistakes.

The lessons will be organized according to the level and interests of the student(s), first I will visualize the level and main struggles, starting with oral expression. What works for children and in general are games, a devious technique to make them learn without the academic dimension. Once they are no longer afraid to express themselves the rest comes naturally, along the lesson will be added grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. I often include homework help, reading aloud with translations, video comprehensions on videos appreciated by students; for example.
