About Midori

I am an American Math Education Specialist with my MAT in secondary education from USC and eight certificates in Mathematics and Data Science from MIT and Harvard University. I specialize in teaching Calculus, Pre‑Calculus, Algebra, Geometry, and GRE quantitative reasoning to American high school students and university students, especially those who want clear explanations and strong academic support.

I have more than 20 years of teaching and tutoring experience and have taught over 300 online lessons to students in the United States and Canada. My students appreciate my step‑by‑step teaching style, which helps them understand difficult concepts quickly and gain confidence in math.

Online lessons can include any math school assignments, exam preparation, and standardized test support such as SAT/ACT Math, depending on each student’s needs.

My goal is to help students improve their grades, strengthen their problem‑solving skills, and feel confident in Math. I always tailor my lessons to match the student’s school curriculum and learning style.
