About Richard
I trained in Modern and Jazz dance at Halifax Dance, while obtaining my BFA from NSCAD in Halifax, Nova Scotia. After graduating with my BFA, I continued with Halifax Dance's Jazz pas de deux program. This adult performance group's choreography was often influenced by Ballroom and Latin dance styles. Intrigued by these styles I joined Cheek to Cheek Dance Studios to learn more, and quickly progressed from student, to dance instructor.

My focus on having fun and getting you up and dancing with a partner. Social dancing is based on Ballroom and Latin dance styles, such as Swing/Jive, Salsa, Slow Night Club Blues, Cha Cha, or Foxtrot to name a few.
