Speaking a foreign language is in part acting and copying the native speakers. I speak 3 foreign languages proficiently and I know it's not easy, but almost anyone can learn a foreign language with the right assistance.
I gently but firmly correct wrong English speech patterns. I expect my students to repeat after me so they can start to correct themselves. I want my students to speak in full sentences. It's easy to give a 1 word answer. You're looking to practice your communication skills so I insist that you speak in full sentences.
I have experience teaching children to adult professionals and can adjust expectations according to your ability.
I then will give you suggestions for what to practice while we are apart.
