About Federico
Hi, I'm Federico. I grew up between two cultures — born in Italy, raised in the US — and teaching has always come naturally to me. Whether it’s Italian or math, I enjoy helping people figure things out and feel more confident in the process. It’s something I’m good at, and something I genuinely like doing. I have an MBA and currently work at a finance startup, so I understand how to stay organized, adapt quickly, and explain complex ideas in a way that makes sense. My lessons are clear, flexible, and tailored to your pace: no fluff, just steady progress (and maybe the occasional bad pun). If you're ready to learn, I'm ready to help.

Learning Italian with me is like having an espresso with a good friend... who corrects your grammar. I believe language is more than just vocabulary and verbs: it’s culture, music, gestures, even the way you say “boh” with your shoulders. My goal is to make you speak Italian confidently, not just study it.
My teaching style is fun, flexible, and focused on real Italian, the kind people actually speak. Lessons mix grammar, conversation, culture, and the occasional meme. One day it’s past tense, the next it’s how to survive an Italian dinner party.
I work with all levels — from total beginners to advanced learners — anyone ready to put in the time and have a few laughs along the way.
You bring the motivation. I’ll bring the structure, support, and (virtual) hand gestures.
