About Mais

I’m Mais, a civil engineer from Syria with a deep passion for languages. I believe that language isn’t acquired through memorization, it’s learned through interaction and immersion. That’s why I dedicate my energy to creating a rich, simplified learning environment that blends professionalism with enjoyment. My goal is to help students fall in love with Arabic and feel excited to explore it, while steadily improving their listening, speaking, and writing skills in a practical and effective way. I tailor my teaching style to match each student’s abilities, goals, and interests, because I know that every learner has a unique way of understanding and engaging with language. I also focus on building a friendly, supportive relationship with my students, because I truly believe that a positive connection leads to faster, deeper learning. When students feel comfortable and enjoy the process, they become more motivated, and that’s when real progress happens.

About the lesson

As an Arabic tutor, I focus on making the learning experience practical, engaging, and tailored to each student’s goals. My teaching method blends structured learning with real-life application—whether you're learning Modern Standard Arabic (Fusha) or a spoken dialect like Syrian Arabic.

Each lesson is built around a clear objective: vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, or cultural context. I begin with a short review, introduce new material through conversation or examples, then reinforce it with interactive exercises, games, or role-play. Homework is light but purposeful, designed to build confidence and fluency.
What sets me apart is my ability to adapt. I don’t follow a rigid curriculum. I shape the lessons around your pace, interests, and learning style. I also bring cultural depth to the language, helping you understand not just what to say, but how and when to say it.
My lessons are ideal for teens and adults at beginner or intermediate levels, whether you're learning Arabic for travel, study, work, or personal growth. No prior experience is required. Just curiosity and a willingness to learn
