About Devina
Architecture has been an inseparable part of my identity since I first realized how deeply space affects emotion. Over the past nine years, I’ve worked across education and practice, mentoring students while contributing to real-world design projects. My journey began in university studios, where models and sketches became my language of thought. Today, teaching architecture allows me to share that same excitement—to guide students as they transform abstract ideas into tangible spaces that inspire. I approach teaching as both an art and a dialogue. Each student brings a unique perspective, and I adapt my instruction to nurture their creative individuality while grounding them in design principles. My lessons are structured yet open-ended, balancing critique with encouragement. I focus on helping learners understand not just how to design, but why design matters—to people, communities, and the world at large. Creativity flourishes best in an environment of curiosity, so I cultivate a classroom atmosphere that welcomes experimentation and reflection. Beyond teaching, I stay active in the architectural community, attending exhibitions, design workshops, and research forums that explore sustainability and urban development. These experiences continually enrich my lessons with current trends and practical insights. I see architecture as more than a profession—it’s a way of perceiving and shaping life itself. Helping students discover their creative voice within this discipline remains one of the greatest joys and privileges of my career.

Architecture is where imagination meets precision—a harmony between creativity and structure. My lessons begin by immersing students in the art of visualizing space, form, and function. I encourage them to see architecture not merely as a profession but as a language of ideas, one that communicates culture, innovation, and human emotion through design. In every session, I blend conceptual exploration with technical clarity, ensuring that creativity is supported by solid foundations in geometry, materials, and sustainable design. Lessons are guided by real-world examples, inspiring learners to observe their environments with a designer’s curiosity and analytical eye.
As students progress, lessons are structured to match their evolving skill levels. Beginners start with fundamental drawing, spatial awareness, and digital modeling. Intermediate learners advance to detailed design development, while advanced students engage in project-based learning—designing structures, analyzing case studies, and refining portfolios. I integrate software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp, teaching how to transition seamlessly from sketches to digital precision. Assignments encourage originality, critical thinking, and presentation skills vital for professional growth.
But beyond technique, my architecture lessons nurture a mindset—a way of seeing the world as a system of balance, creativity, and purpose. Students often find that the discipline reshapes how they perceive light, proportion, and human interaction within space. Many describe a newfound confidence in expressing their vision, merging artistic intuition with technical command. My goal is for each student to leave with not only the skill to design but the spirit to imagine, lead, and innovate through architecture.
