About Olivia
I have been passionate about architecture since I was captivated by how spaces shape human experience. I pursued a B.Arch and an M.Arch in Sustainable Architectural Design to combine technical knowledge with creative exploration. Over 10 years, I have guided students in understanding design principles, developing creative thinking, and building confidence in their own architectural voice.
My teaching approach emphasizes student-centered learning, combining conceptual discussion, interactive modeling, step-by-step guidance, and project-based exercises. I aim to foster creativity, analytical reasoning, and practical design skills.
Outside teaching, I remain engaged with architectural innovation, sustainable design practices, and urban planning research, bringing contemporary relevance into the classroom. Witnessing students grow from uncertainty to creative confidence, from conceptual ideas to tangible designs, is profoundly rewarding. My mission is to help learners develop both technical mastery and artistic expression, cultivating the skills to excel as architects and designers.

Architecture becomes inspiring when learners understand how ideas transform into meaningful, functional spaces. My lessons cover design thinking, spatial visualization, material understanding, form and function integration, and technical drafting. I combine conceptual discussions, guided exercises, model-building, and real-world case studies to help students develop confidence, creativity, and analytical thinking. Each session emphasizes clarity, problem-solving, and artistic expression, encouraging students to approach design challenges with structured creativity and intellectual curiosity.
Lessons are customized to the student’s experience. Beginners focus on sketching, basic spatial reasoning, and understanding proportions. Intermediate learners explore conceptual development, advanced modeling, material application, and presentation techniques. Advanced learners work on comprehensive design projects, portfolio preparation, and refinement of creative narratives. Each session integrates interactive feedback, critical evaluation, and hands-on practice to ensure learners gain mastery, confidence, and expressive capability in architectural design.
Architecture lessons also strengthen creative thinking, observation, systematic reasoning, and communication skills. Students gain satisfaction from translating abstract ideas into coherent designs and discovering their personal design voice. My goal is to cultivate both technical proficiency and creative independence, preparing learners to succeed in academic, professional, and creative architectural endeavors.
