About Vince

My passion for architecture began with an appreciation for how built environments influence human experience and behaviour. This led me to complete a B.Arch, followed by an M.Arch in Sustainable Architecture, where I explored creative design, environmental responsibility, and professional workflows. Over the past 8 years, I have supported students in developing clarity, confidence, and originality in their design work. I teach with patience, openness, and adaptability, ensuring students feel supported throughout the creative process. I focus on helping learners understand design logic, refine visual communication, and trust their creative instincts. Many students who begin unsure gradually gain confidence as they develop structured design thinking. Outside teaching, I stay connected to architecture through sustainability research, sketching practice, and analysis of contemporary projects. Teaching architecture is deeply meaningful to me because I witness students grow creatively, intellectually, and personally through design exploration.

About the lesson

Architecture becomes inspiring when students understand how ideas evolve into meaningful, functional spaces. In my lessons, I guide learners through design thinking, spatial exploration, form development, material awareness, and visual communication using a structured yet creative approach. I help students balance imagination with logic, allowing ideas to develop with clarity and purpose. Lessons are tailored to different experience levels. Beginners focus on sketching basics, proportion, scale, and spatial visualisation. Intermediate learners explore conceptual development, model-making, material expression, and presentation techniques. Advanced learners refine project organisation, portfolio development, sustainability concepts, and design critique. Each lesson includes discussion, hands-on exploration, and constructive feedback. Architecture lessons also nurture observation, creativity, and confidence. Students learn to express ideas visually and articulate design intent clearly. My goal is to help learners build a strong creative identity while developing disciplined design habits that support long-term growth.
