About Raahi

I hold a B.Arch in Urban Design and have 8 years of experience teaching and mentoring students in architecture. My passion began with a fascination for how spaces shape human experience and grew into a dedication to guiding learners in developing their own creative voices. Teaching allows me to combine technical skills, artistic exploration, and problem-solving strategies in meaningful ways. I focus on clarity, structure, and encouragement in my teaching. I tailor lessons to the student’s pace, providing feedback, demonstrations, and supportive guidance to foster both creativity and discipline. I encourage students to experiment while maintaining strong foundational understanding. Outside the classroom, I engage with architectural literature, design projects, and sustainability studies. These experiences enrich my lessons and allow me to provide students with current, practical insights. Helping learners transform ideas into thoughtful designs is both deeply satisfying and motivating.

About the lesson

Architecture lessons begin with helping students understand fundamental principles of design, including space, form, proportion, and functional planning. Early exercises focus on sketching, conceptual thinking, and visual exploration, enabling learners to express ideas confidently and develop a foundational understanding of spatial relationships.

As students progress, we explore more complex design concepts such as circulation, materials, lighting, sustainable practices, and project conceptualization. I incorporate real-world examples, guided discussions, and design exercises to help students integrate creativity with technical knowledge. Learners develop critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze and refine their work thoughtfully.

In advanced lessons, students work on comprehensive projects, from initial concept sketches to refined designs. They learn to communicate ideas through plans, models, and presentations while considering aesthetic, functional, and social impacts. By the end, learners gain practical skills, creative confidence, and a deeper understanding of design principles applicable to architecture and urban planning.
