About Marielle
Hello! My name is Marielle, and I am passionate about helping non-native English speakers improve their communication skills with confidence. As a university student, I have extensive experience using English in academic writing, research, presentations, and everyday communication.
I understand the challenges of learning a second language because I have worked with people from different backgrounds and know that every learner progresses at their own pace. My goal is to create a comfortable and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, practicing their skills, and making mistakes as part of the learning process.

My approach as an English tutor is focused on building confidence, practical communication skills, and personalized learning. I understand that every learner has different goals, whether it is improving conversational English, preparing for academic work, succeeding in job interviews, or communicating more effectively in professional settings. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable practicing and making mistakes as part of the learning process.
My teaching methods combine conversation practice, grammar instruction, vocabulary building, pronunciation guidance, reading comprehension, and writing exercises. Lessons are interactive and tailored to the learner's proficiency level, interests, and objectives. I use real-life examples and practical scenarios to help students apply English naturally and confidently.
A typical lesson begins with a review of previous topics, followed by a focused lesson on a specific skill area such as speaking, grammar, vocabulary, or writing. Students then participate in guided activities and practice exercises, receiving constructive feedback throughout the session. Each lesson concludes with a summary of key points and recommendations for continued improvement.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my patient and encouraging teaching style. I focus not only on correcting mistakes but also on helping learners understand why corrections are needed, enabling them to become more independent and confident English users.
