About Ivy
My fascination with architecture began from observing how spaces influence human behavior and experience. This led me to pursue a B.Arch followed by an M.Arch in Urban Design, equipping me with both creative and technical expertise. Over 8 years, I have guided students through conceptual development, technical drafting, and design visualization, helping them achieve both skill mastery and creative confidence.
I teach with patience, encouragement, and a structured approach. Lessons integrate hands-on exercises, project-based work, and iterative discussions to develop both technical proficiency and creative expression. I emphasize experimentation, critical reflection, and independent problem-solving, allowing learners to explore their potential fully.
Beyond teaching, I remain active in design research, sustainability studies, and urban planning projects. This enriches lessons with real-world insight and current design trends. Witnessing students gain confidence, refine skills, and develop their unique design voice is immensely rewarding. My aim is to cultivate thoughtful, innovative architects capable of bringing impactful ideas to life.

Architecture becomes exciting when students learn to translate ideas into functional and visually compelling spaces. My lessons cover design thinking, spatial planning, material understanding, sustainable strategies, and digital modeling techniques. I emphasize creativity, technical precision, and analytical problem-solving, integrating sketches, models, and digital tools to help learners explore and refine their architectural voice. Each session nurtures confidence, conceptual clarity, and professional readiness.
Lessons are tailored to student experience. Beginners focus on fundamental sketching, spatial composition, and basic design principles to develop a solid foundation. Intermediate learners engage with 3D modeling, material analysis, and project conceptualization, refining both technical and creative skills. Advanced learners tackle complex urban design, sustainable architecture, portfolio curation, and professional presentations, preparing for academic advancement or design competitions. Each class combines iterative feedback, hands-on exercises, and conceptual discussion for comprehensive development.
Architecture lessons help learners integrate artistic creativity with analytical reasoning, enabling them to solve spatial challenges and communicate ideas effectively. Students develop strong visualization, design thinking, and problem-solving abilities. My goal is to nurture confident, innovative designers ready to transform conceptual ideas into real-world solutions.
