About Namrata
My passion for architecture started with a fascination for how spaces influence human experiences, leading me to pursue a B.Arch followed by an M.Arch in Urban Design. Over 7 years of teaching, I have guided students from basic concepts to advanced architectural design, emphasizing clarity, structured guidance, and encouragement to explore their creativity. My lessons combine hands-on exercises, digital modeling, and conceptual analysis to build both technical skill and creative confidence. I adapt lessons to the individual, integrating traditional techniques, modern tools, and sustainability principles. Encouraging exploration, problem-solving, and independent thinking is central to my approach. Patience, feedback, and structured mentorship ensure learners progress steadily and confidently. Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with design trends, urban planning research, and sustainable architecture practices. Integrating these insights allows students to connect concepts with real-world applications. Teaching architecture is deeply rewarding because I witness learners develop creative vision, technical expertise, and a sense of purpose in their designs.

Architecture becomes inspiring when students learn to transform conceptual ideas into tangible, functional, and aesthetic structures. My lessons cover design principles, spatial reasoning, visual communication, materials, sustainability, and urban planning. I integrate hands-on modeling, sketching, digital tools, and guided critiques to develop both technical competence and creative confidence. Each session emphasizes problem-solving, iterative design, and conceptual clarity while encouraging independent thinking and exploration.
Beginners focus on basic drawing, proportionality, perspective, and foundational design concepts. Intermediate learners engage with material application, model-making, sustainable design strategies, and spatial problem-solving exercises. Advanced learners work on comprehensive design projects, portfolio preparation, presentation skills, and research-driven design decisions. Lessons combine practical exercises, conceptual discussions, and iterative feedback to ensure holistic development.
Studying architecture enhances creativity, critical thinking, spatial awareness, and technical skill. Students gain confidence articulating ideas visually, solving design challenges, and understanding functional and aesthetic considerations.
