About Romy
My passion for architecture began with fascination for how spaces shape the way people live, interact, and feel. This interest led me to earn a B.Arch in Architectural Design followed by an M.Arch in Urban Sustainability, where I studied both creative design thinking and the future of responsible architecture. Over 8 years of teaching experience, I have helped students transform uncertainty into confident design expression through patient guidance and structured support.
I believe architecture should be taught through a balance of imagination and discipline. My teaching style focuses on helping students understand the reasoning behind design choices, develop strong visual communication, and gain confidence in presenting their work. I enjoy guiding learners through concept development, sketch refinement, and the process of turning abstract ideas into meaningful architectural forms. Students often gain motivation when they realize design skill grows steadily through practice.
Outside tutoring, I stay connected to architecture through sustainability research, design exploration, and continual study of global architectural trends. Teaching architecture is deeply rewarding because I witness students discover their creative strengths and build confidence in their artistic voice. Supporting learners as they grow into thoughtful, capable designers is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work.

Architecture becomes inspiring when students realize it is not only about buildings, but about shaping spaces that influence human life, emotion, and experience. In my lessons, I guide learners through design principles, spatial reasoning, form development, material awareness, and architectural visualization with supportive, structured teaching. I focus on helping students express creativity while also understanding the discipline and logic that professional design requires. Each lesson encourages exploration, confidence, and clear conceptual growth.
Lessons are tailored to the learner’s level and creative goals. Beginners learn basic sketching, proportion, layout thinking, and simple design development. Intermediate students strengthen technical drawing, model planning, material understanding, and architectural composition skills. Advanced learners focus on portfolio building, project refinement, presentation technique, design narratives, and professional critique preparation. Every session includes supportive feedback, step-by-step guidance, and encouragement to help students grow steadily.
Architecture lessons also support personal growth beyond academics. Students develop stronger observation, creativity, emotional expression, and confidence in presenting ideas. Many learners feel empowered when they can communicate design visions clearly through drawings and models. My goal is to help students build a strong creative identity while developing disciplined architectural skills that support long-term success.
