About Louis
Holding a Bachelor of Music in Popular Music from the National University of Singapore might suggest I only care about theory, but I actually prioritize real-world application. My 9 years of teaching have led me to work with 366 students who just want to play better songs.
I know how to make barre chords and rhythm guitar feel intuitive rather than like a chore. I focus on blues progressions and reading tabs so you can navigate the fretboard with ease.
We look at lead guitar and scales and modes to get you comfortable moving around the neck. Songwriting and electric technique are also on the table. It is all about the music.

I use my degree to break down complex electric technique into manageable steps for your guitar journey. Having taught 366 students, I know how to spot the exact moment you need help.
My lessons draw on my 9 years of experience to keep the pace steady. We cover everything from songwriting basics to complex modes at a speed that suits your lifestyle. It feels good to finally play the music you actually like.
