About Monica
Pursuing a PhD at UC Berkeley has given me a deep perspective on how to teach complex chemical structures. I have spent 12 years teaching Chemistry by focusing on the core intuition that exams reward. My teaching narrative centers on shifting grades within a term by building a solid foundation first.
I work with 254 students ranging from working professionals and hobbyists to kids and exam prep candidates. Balancing equations or mastering the mole concept becomes manageable when we strip away the noise.
I value clarity over speed. My classroom style is warm and highly motivated. I enjoy seeing students finally grasp concepts they once feared. It is my goal to ensure you feel confident in your own ability to solve problems.
