About Alida

Art & Creative Tutor | Full-Marks GCSE Art Student | Artist & Creative Mentor

Having grown up surrounded by art, with an artist father and a mother who is an art lecturer and examiner, I've been immersed in the creative world from day one. From attending exhibitions and private views both in the UK and abroad to painting, drawing and exploring different creative disciplines, art has always been a fundamental part of my life.

I achieved 200/200 (full marks) in GCSE Art and am currently studying an Art Foundation at Brighton MET, where I continue to develop my artistic practice, explore new techniques and expand my creative perspective.

Beyond my studies, I've gained hands-on experience designing poster artwork for school and special events, selling my artwork at local markets and taking on commissions from clients online. These experiences have allowed me to explore different creative briefs, develop my artistic versatility and understand how to turn ideas into finished pieces.

My passion lies in helping others discover their creativity, build confidence and bring their ideas to life. Whether you're a young child exploring art for the first time, a student preparing for exams or an adult looking to develop a personal creative project, I'm here to offer guidance tailored to your individual goals.

I can support a wide range of creative and artistic pursuits, from drawing and painting to developing creative concepts, exploring artistic influences, preparing portfolios and working on personal projects. My approach is encouraging, collaborative and focused on helping you develop your own artistic voice.

• Drawing, Painting & Artistic Techniques

Explore different artistic mediums, techniques and approaches suited to your interests and ability.

Have an idea but aren't sure how to bring it to life? We'll work together to explore concepts, experiment with possibilities and develop your ideas into finished artwork.
