About Diana
My teaching experience includes doing research and creating lessons that meet the school’s curriculum and guidelines. I have the ability to adapt my lessons to match the learning styles of my students, captivating their attention with short videos, virtual trips, or Kahoot sessions. I know that an AP level course is about memorizing a lot of names, art terms, movements, and styles, and combining ppt presentations with videos and Kahoot exercises will make it easier for them to retain such an amount of information.

I have always had enormous pleasure in sharing my knowledge on art history and world culture and I have done it since my student years as a tutor of art history and I must say that my “students” are now reputed professors in Romanian universities or professionals hired by institutions such as The Romanian Cultural Institute with branches all over the world. I am a professional with a 5-year degree in History and Theory of Art (1990-1995) and I have years of experience teaching art to students of all ages and I would appreciate an opportunity to utilize my skills to their fullest by teaching at your institution. My recent experience in Shanghai refers to my role as Assistant Professor for the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) at East China Normal University in Shanghai. As an Adjunct Professor, I was responsible for teaching the three-credit courses “Survey of Art for Penn State”. I had 70 students enrolled, more than half of them getting an A final grade.
